What would happen to the meta?

I think BKB would only be purchased only situations where it's truly required, which would be an indirect buff to supports. Also less late-game carry so early skirmishes matter more, AND heroes that don't require boots like weaver would be more popular.

I think bkb will forever be a compulsory item. (for heroes that needs it of course) Late game carries will just suffer less damage. I dont think you can ever substitute bkb lol.
