normal skill - high skill in General Discussion

What do I need to change to go from normal skill to high skill? is it the items I buy? the hero damage? the tower damage? the people I play with? the team performance?

I'm just trying to identify what exactly I need to do better, then I can get better!

I'm currently practicing my LH and denies, but I'm not so good on the hero damage etc.!

    thanks

You're new, just play another 300 games to get a better feel of the game. Then find 2-3 heroes you're best at for each position and pick last or second to last depending on what your team needs, see your win rate rise and profit.

Win games to face harder opponents! And play ranked to see your progress.

Learn from my mistake, play less Windranger for now, her high skill ceiling makes her a really shitty hero for beginners when compared to Riki, Sniper, Drow, etc. I mean, compare my winrate for WR (which is exactly like yours) and WK, who were the heroes i played almost exclusively when I started.

Biggest tip to get better for anyone is just to review replays and spot EVERY mistake that you made, for example, if you try to save your teammate and you both die, that's on you even if the other guy could've used a spell or w/e bullshit excuse you have. By reviewing every mistake in every game your brain will adapt and realize what to do and what not to do while playing. Also it's good to watch a win after a loss or vice versa, that way you can definitely make out what you could've done differently to benefit your team
